The weeks leading up to the Christmas holiday were filled with the typical energy and excitement. I didn’t expect to post very much during the family holiday, but I certainly didn’t expect to fall off the radar, either. The horrific tragedies leading into the holiday shattered any plans or enthusiasm I had for writing.

I’ve been simply lost for words to fill this space.

Sometimes the problems we face in society are bigger than a simple attitude adjustment and an open mind. If I can find the words and collect my thoughts into a way that makes sense inspires dialogue, I’ll share. I may choose to enter the debates about guns, violence or any other topic that rattle our collective consciousness. Just not today.
